 Keith and Juliet

Foster's Clambake, York, Maine

August 26, 2023

Keith and Juliet met in 2019 while Juliet was attending UNH and Keith was at The Landing School of Boatbuilding. They quickly connected over their shared passions for sailing and being on the water. When Keith graduated and COVID hit, he returned home to Ottawa Lake, Michigan while Juliet finished out her senior year at school. The couple managed long distance for a year before Keith moved to Maine and they settled in Eliot.  4 short years later and the two had purchased a wooden sailboat, adopted a cat, and were engaged.

In planning their wedding their number one goal was finding a venue that had an authentic Maine feel and offered locally sourced lobster. Lobster is the couples favorite food, and since the majority of their guests were from out of state they wanted to give everyone a true “taste of Maine."

After seeing a host of venues that just weren't "their vibe," Keith and Juliet booked a tour at Foster's and knew immediately that they'd found the perfect location and team to make their wedding dreams come true. Between the accommodating staff, the authentic New England Clambake menu (steamed up right outside), the tranquil outdoor ceremony site, and the rustic vibe of the reception space, the couple didn't hesitate to book their date and get to work on the guest list. And, on a warm and brilliant Maine afternoon in late August, surrounded by their loved ones, Keith and Juliet said "I do!"
